Alguns redactores da Linux Format abandonaram o grupo que detém o título e iniciar um novo projecto que pretendem que seja mais orientado para os leitores e menos para os anunciantes/patrocinadores. A publicação que pretendem lançar chama-se Linux Voice e está a procurar financiamento numa plataforma de crowdfunding.
