My name is Zbigniew Braniecki, and I'm working in Mozilla project on l10n communities. You may recognize me as "gandalf" on IRC. I'm writing to you in order to request your feedback on the recent project I'm working on - Mozilla Community Theme. The Theme is directly targeting people like you - working in local communities or leading a local community. We spent a lot of time preparing as flexible plan of action as possible to make sure that you'll have a lot of freedom with adjusting the theme to your needs if you'll want to use it on your community website. Now, we received a first round of mockups from the designers and we need to gather a solid feedback from all people who're involved in Mozilla Community to build a good and productive feedback to the designers so they can work on the next revision. I believe that it's extremely important to get as much feedback as possible and it's the very best moment when You can influence the Theme. You can find the blog post with screenshots here: http://diary.braniecki.net/2008/09/24/rfc-mozilla-community-theme/ Please, comment in the blog post, or respond to this email with your opinions. What you like about this theme? What you don't? What is missing? How can we improve it? We will not make it "standard" theme and require anyone to use it, but we want to make sure it's a great Mozilla Community Theme, and offer it to all our communities - not only Firefox related, but any community which identifies itself with Mozilla ecosystem. It should be about Mozilla, about Community, it should look professional and esthetic. I see a room for improvement, but I don't want to send MY thoughts. I prefer to send YOURS, both, good and bad, to make this project useful. If you have your community website, and you don't plan to change your theme, think about those small new communities that appear around Mozilla. They may want to use it. What is missing in this theme to make it attractive to them? How can you share your experience with Mozilla Community Websites that you know or maintain to make the Mozilla Community Theme better. Please, take a few moments now to help me with this. Thank you Zbigniew Braniecki -- Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org) ]
