StarOffice is OpenOffice picked by sun under the terms of the SISSL which is not compatible with the definition of Libre Software. GNOME stands for GNU Network Object Model Environment. GNU: www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html RMS is right in alerting for the need of respect for all Free Software. What GNOME should have done, instead of waving staroffice 6.0 beta, was to cheer build 638c of OpenOffice. Hugs from yet another rms.
